Vision Statement
We strive to transform the face of patient education in eye care to help patients understand the role of the eyes as windows to the body. We desire to create a network of open communication with other health care providers to ensure patients are receiving the care they need for their whole selves. Patient well-being coupled with patient understanding is the ultimate goal.
Who We Are
Dr. Haley Owens
Dr. Haley Owens was born and raised in Deer Lodge and is thrilled to be back serving the local community. She graduated from Powell County High School in 2008 and went on to get a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Whitworth University in Spokane, Washington. She attended Optometry School at Pacific University in Forest Grove, Oregon where she received her Doctorate of Optometry in 2016. She spent four years caring for patients at multiple eye clinics in the Missoula area while working on plans for her dream practice here in Deer Lodge which opened in 2020. Dr. Owens loves helping patients of all ages better understand how their eyes work and she is always up for tackling a challenging contact lens fit. She has participated in eye care service trips to Romania and Tanzania and hopes to continue serving those in need locally and abroad throughout her career.
In addition to her time spent caring for eyes, Dr. Owens is active in the community in many ways. She is an assistant volleyball coach at PCHS, serves on the Board of Discover Deer Lodge, is a member of the local PEO chapter, and is a regional legislative chair for the Montana Optometric Association. In 2024 she was recognized as one of Southwest Montana’s “20 Under 40” for outstanding commitment to her community. In her free time, Dr. Owens enjoys spending time with her family and fiance’ Brian, playing in multiple City Rec sports leagues, traveling, playing with her cat Willie, exploring Montana, and cheering on the Green Bay Packers.
